NEW YORK (Reuters)-stuntman has filed court documents that seek information about acrobatic maneuvers in the Broadway musical “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark” in the introduction to the possibility of a lawsuit against the companies that work in the troubled show.
Legal action is the latest headache for the most expensive production Broadway’s producers who had argued with the injury to players from crashed or crash-landings during aerial stunts, a fierce dispute with the original Director and co-creator of Julie Taymor, and reviews were mostly negative. However, ticket sales have proven to be strong at the box office.
Stuntman Richard Kobak claiming he injured when doing some stunts event including one incident where he claims the software programmed computers to ensure safety on the contrary he rammed face-first to the wall.
Kobak says he replaced another stuntman who was injured while performing in December 2010, but claims that safety equipment not recalibrated to the difference between the two, causing the heavy Kobak landed “harder and faster than he should have.
